MY PICKS FROM STUDIO MCGEE’S NEW TARGET COLLECTION

At the end of last month I found out that all my decor dreams were coming true – my favorite designer, Studio McGee, announced a multi-year collaboration with Target. I’ve been a fan of Studio McGee for years. I absolutely love their unique style and all of their products are such great quality, but sadly most of them are out of my current price range. Still, a gal can dream, and my home decor Pinterest board is filled with great pieces from Studio McGee. Now that their Target collection is live, I’m so excited to see so many affordable items that I know will be great additions to my home!

Unsurprisingly, the collection somehow surpassed even my very high expectations. The price points are seriously amazing and although I’ve only been able to look at the collection online, the quality looks great. I also love how cohesive the entire collection is! I have my eye on several pieces, so I thought I’d share my absolute favorite items in case your boredom is causing an uptick in your online window shopping, too. Keep reading for my picks from the new Threshold Designed with Studio McGee collection at Target – and if you’re interested in seeing more, you can view the entire collection here!

1. Limestone Knot Figurine – $20.00

This is hands down my favorite item in the collection. I’m always looking for new pieces to use in shelf styling and this limestone knot is seriously perfect. The texture is gorgeous and the neutral color makes it so versatile!

2. Wild Blossom Art Print – $17.00

I’ve been really into natural wood accents lately, and this print is the perfect way to subtly incorporate them. The simple sketch is pretty and understated and the price is unbeatable!

3. Metallic Glaze Ceramic Table Planter – $15.00

I have a thing for matte black, so naturally I’m obsessed with this table planter. The texture makes it unique and it’s the perfect piece to make the average house plant feel a bit more dressed up.

4. Woven Plaid Pillow – $22.00

This throw pillow combines great neutral colors with a pattern that adds interest without being too crazy. The tassels on the side add a little element of fun, and the cover is removable so it’s easy to replace the insert with something a little sturdier if you’d like.

5. Open Weave Square Basket – $50.00

I love a good basket. They’re pretty, great for hiding away pretty much anything, and they bring so much warmth and texture to a room. This one is great – the color is perfect and the handles make it feel a little less basic. It’s really substantial and the shape is a little more out of the ordinary so it doesn’t feel like your average run-of-the-mill basket.

6. Decorative Wooden Bead Garland – $25.00

It took me a while to get on the wooden garland train, but I’m officially on board with this trend and Studio McGee nailed it with this one. It would look great draped over a bowl (maybe the ceramic one in this roundup?) and it’d also be a great way to add texture and depth to a space.

7. Decorative Burled Wooden Box – $12.00 – $15.00

I was over the moon when I saw that these boxes were part of the collection! I’ve been on the hunt for a couple of pretty boxes to use for storing some essential oils on one of my shelves, and these are absolutely perfect. Leave it to Studio McGee to create exactly what I’ve been searching for for months!

8. Artificial Rubber Leaf Tree – $45.00

If you’ve read any of my other posts then you probably know that I have a major black thumb, so I love a good artificial plant. This one is perfect – it’s a realistic shade of green and has great leaf placement so it looks nice and full. I love the texture of the basket it comes in, too!

9. Sketch Art Print Set of 2 – $70.00

I’m all about simple and understated art and this set fits the bill perfectly. I love the contrast and the simplicity of the black and white and I can think of a million different places where it would work in any home!

10. Textured Ceramic Jar Candle – $8.99 – $30.49

Who doesn’t love a good candle? This one comes in three different sizes and the two neutral tones are so good. The ceramic makes it look a lot more expensive than it actually is, and it’s so pretty it can function as both decor and a yummy scent!

11. Ceramic Textured Decorative Bowl – $30.00

Pretty bowls are so underrated as decor! They’re the best way to corral smaller objects and make a space feel more streamlined and organized. I’m obsessed with the gorgeous glaze on this one – it makes the bowl feel a bit different while keeping it neutral so it goes with everything.

12. Woven Drawer Console Table – $299.99

Okay, so obviously this isn’t exactly in my current price range, but it’s so beautiful I couldn’t leave it off this list. I love everything about this console table – the inky black finish, gold hardware, and the woven drawers make it feel really special. It’d look even better with a couple of nice textured baskets on the bottom!

13. Decorative Brass Figurine – $20.00

Another great shelf styling piece! I love adding little pops of brass to spaces and this is perfect for that. I know it would look so good on top of a stack of magazines or a few books, and the shape makes it a really interesting piece.

This collection is so incredible and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful products that will come out of this partnership over the next several years. If you haven’t checked the full collection out, I encourage you to take a look now! There are so many great pieces and I’m sure you’ll find something you love. If a piece you’re interested in is out of stock, don’t worry – Shea from Studio McGee mentioned that there will be a restock soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that. And if you purchased an item from the collection that you love, let me know – I’d love to hear about it!
